To you great C6 guys, i need a service and have one booked this weekend with Coulsdon audi for oil service and inspection, they quotes 550 all in, wondered if that is about right or too much?

Sadly i have to stick with audi to keep my mondial warranty, but she will be at MRC in a few weeks to have some more things added to her

I'll be interested to see how you compare the MTM and MRC maps...

Having lived with an MRC stage 2 car for 3 or so months now, whilst I think the power is very impressive, the overall package seems a bit poorly implemented, and I think more could be done to improve the driveability.

interesting review, did you get a gearbox map as well, as now its a bit too slow witted atm and that makes it a bit harder so have to always revert to paddles

I started another thread so as not to derail this one too much. Yes, had the gearbox map done too. I didn't find the gearbox was too much of an issue before though tbh (and if anything all the gearbox map feels to have done in my instance is raise the rev limit).

It would be interesting to drive the MTM and MRC tuned cars back to back though and see how they compare (which you'll get to do!) :)

Might take you up on that. I'm in Leatherhead, so not far at all. Can have a drive of mine too to see if you like the MRC way :thumb:

small update, service completed, only advisory was a minor oil leak by OS front intercooler, tech thinks it could be a pipe so need to check it in to be done next week.

only negative was I serviced it early, arrived home and service due! popped up so had to track back over there saturday morning, but a good excuse for a blast!

Update:

So went to Crawley audi for a service a few weeks back, all good excpet for a slight oil leak at tthe front. Went back in for investigigation on Friday and it turns out to be oil seperator and the 2 brailed lines that go into it. Need to order parts from Germany but total Bill 1,355 which warranty will cover.

Whilst its under the knife i will get them to install the uprated Phillips bulbs that Trups sent me :)

Fitted the trups LED's the other week and look awesome and been doing some long runs in the 6, and seem to be averaging 19-20mpg which im happy with.

Next on the list;
-Transfer private plate
-Give the car black optics
- MTM spacers and potentially lowering springs
- A trip to MRC but waiting to see Classba and bretto's results so i know just what needs to be done :)
