First run: 1/4 mile 10.3@227km/h (142mph) and 1km at 18.4@292km (182mph). Having known Adam for years, they're keeping a little extra for tomorrow's final runs and wouldn't be surprised to see high 9s for 1/4. Note that this is road surface (and a bit bumpy) and road specced car.

Great job!

Can't wait to have this stage on my car :D

TBI, I assume that this car is running NOS. What does it produce without it?.

Thanks.
Too much power is barely enough.

I don't know it if is running NOS, but I would not assume that has to be running NOS to put out 1100bhp.

Engine bhp levels of up to 2000bhp are achieved by Underground Racing and Heffner with the same Audi 5.0 litre FSI V10 engine in their Lamborghini Gallardo TT installations. Mind you they do have the advantage over the RS6 of a lot more space in the engine bay for the turbos. Also to achieve power levels reliably in excess of 1000bhp, you need an engine rebuild with steel liners, carillo rods, etc plus a few dollars. See typical spec sheet.

Great performance from a sleeper 4 door sedan as I know it takes a lot of power to break into the 10 second quarter mile times. Congratulations to Adam and Sportsmile.

TBI, thanks for keeping us posted on the Sportsmile results. Much appreciated.

cheers,

Unlim 500+ results in 30 mins.

There must have been some sort of technical issue with their RS6 (white smoke) but so far there are no news/updates re same.

AFAIK, the car runs nitrous of c. 100BHP which is due to tight packaging of the engine bay the car has and problems C6 have with overheating. As a result, while engine is bulletproof, it is much more difficult to create a sustainable package with more than c. 1,000BHP.

The said example did travel to Moscow on wheels (1,500KM one way) and is coming back the same way, with no technical problems while running. It probably is the fastest car which participated in this year's Unlim doing so.

While they haven't improved in the final run (10.3), the general belief is that with better traction and in cooler conditions the car in current spec will break into 9s.

Some more performance numbers:

0-100km/h: 3.2 (note that in good conditions C6 have been running 2.9)
0-160km/h:5.7
0-200km/5: 8.3 (same car did 8.0 in cooler weather conditions prior to leaving for Moscow)
All figures RL

It did 1/4 in 10.3 and 1km in 18.4s. For comparison, the fastest car overall, GT-R AMS Alpha 16, did 1km in 15.8s and fastest stock car, Aventador 1km in 20.1s.

Will keep you posted - especially once my car is upgraded :-)

Best
Tomek

PS.

A bit of disclosure, I'm not affiliated with Sportmile - just a customer so have (i) limited knowledge of cars speccs (perhaps a bit more than what is publicly available) (ii) no financial incentive in promoting them (but since owner is a friend of mine I do have other incentives ;-) )
