Sorry to take the thread OT but I'm going to LM in the C6 this year with a mate in his Biturbo A6. We're staying in the PH private campsite and going Friday to Monday, you?

I think I'm set on a C6 after reading more about them rather than a C7. Maybe the latter in a couple of years.

Some additional questions if I may. I am only considering buying a car with warranty as I don't want the hassle of stuff going boom and massive bills. With the GT-R, we have Litchfield's who provide a super warranty extendable year on year for £1k per year. Do MRC or other audi tuners do this? If not, I'd have to stick to Audi warrantied cars.

Which brings me on to mods. I would like some simple mods to get to around 700bhp and stick there. I presume that means air intakes, injectors, downpipes, decat and exhaust plus remap? What of those do I need for 700bhp? Does Audi honour any sort of warranty on the car after that? Do the tuners who do it offer any warranty on the car post mods?

Thanks chaps.

Only warranty worth the paper is Audi's through Mondial.

700 horse is filters and map.

If you blow your engine up don't expect Audi to cough up. You modify you risk the warranty, simple as that.

So is there any point having warranty on modified cars?
If you declare the mods before taking warranty and something blows up (turbos, gearbox) shouldn't you be covered?

If you declare to Mondial they'll tell you to jog on.

Have to buy a ticket for the raffle I'm afraid.

After having seen the Merlin Purple modded C7 RS yesterday, the C6 looks like a bag of :dung: !
If you got the money, go for the C7 - a far superior car in every respect!

IMO, for the money for a fully spec'd C7 + Mods, I'm much better off buying something else.
Too much power is barely enough.

This has the turbochargers swapped out for the RS6 ones....

Fair enough, didn't realise the extent of the mods.

MRC Stage 1 or 2 with Milltek would be enough for me!
