I got my bearings done for free out of warranty?

Audi goodwill....good luck?

However mine have gone again after 7 months!!!!....although again thy are getting done for free under audi parts warranty.

It just gets better

Just realised courtesy car tax ran out 31st March!!!!!!!

They even let me take it out of tax!!!

Alright maybe I should have checked but you don't expect a 62 plate courtesy car to have no tax!!

Useless <beep> Audi!!!

Of to ring them and play holy <beep>!! Lol

Jeez man, feel for you on this one. Fingers crossed that these will also be simple fixes once the main work of the engine coming out is complete.

Both rocker cover gaskets leaking!

Think he said timing chain cover??..at rear of engine??...both sides in same area?...this could be wrong as my head is pickled with it all now!!!!

Any way three leaks....all gasket related?

Looks like gaskets have literally melted?..like black rubber?...maybe the intense heat?

This is the timing belt cover leak?

Other side timing chain cover?...gasket looks squashed and melted?

Can't really see leak but its defo leaking.

Both rocker covers leaking in same area too...bottom corner closest to firewall?

A weak spot?...maybe as both in same spot?

Thing is none of this can be really seen unless engine is out?...maybe I'm lucky in one respect as if found at a later date it's block out again maybes??
Maybe I'm unlucky?....either way I've told them to crack on and do it all.
Master tech says everything else, gearbox etc etc looks fine no leaks etc?

Least leaks will be sorted hopeful?

I just worry about it all going back together and there's no teething troubles, leaks etc etc

So so far....

40k service
Gearbox oil change
New front discs and pads
Four oil leaks(all gaskets)
New bearings again(parts warranty)

Of to sell my newly purchased A2 to foot the bill!!!!!
