Ian.. answer is NO. Just round town driving and A roads. I give it the wellies when ever possible.
Usually take the S4 to work only about once a month, maybe twice a month if I go straight to the MK meet from work, but I've driven it to work for the last eleven days with the ice and snow. Filled up two weeks ago Sunday immediately before the snow came, and again this even on my way home from work today, a nice round 60.00 litres, 256.1 miles, 19.4 mpg, happy with that considering

Clearly I didn't buy my quattro for fuel consumption, but the thought of getting half this mpg quite frankly I couldn't stomach - nor afford. My nearest Shell is 4.0 miles away across town - thats already a litre there and a litre back........

However I cannot bear the thought of ever being quattroless!

That's about right Ian. I had a C5 S6 and averaged about 16-17mpg.

mines not mapped, it was when i got it but had it flashed back to stock.

i started using the tesco 99 but i dont like it, i have used v power alot in it but find no differance between that or the 95, so what i will do from now on is use V power.
Trups, what didn't you like about the Tesco 99?.
Ive always used Shell since i have passed my test 8 years ago so i think its a personnal thing that when i put a few tanks of tesco in i didnt think it was doing anything, if anything i think it drank more fuel. i know it burns better but not sure.

Put a tank of Vpower in after my last post and told the mrs thats all that is going in now so she knows when she has to fill it up.

Never used tesco juice cause I'm convinced it knacked the cat on a BMW I had.

How many miles did you get out the v power then?

Personally I haven't noticed any difference between Tesco99 and V-Power in either range or performance. I ran exclusively on Tesco99 for months as I kept receiving money off vouchers and I lived and worked near a big store. When the vouchers dried up I thought I would get myself a Shell loyalty card and try V-Power, been exclusively on this for at least 2-3 months. Still average 250-270 to the tank.

To my surprise, I got got mailes from the tank of V-bastard.. 230 ish miles. This could be due to the fact that the spark plugs were changed ( 1 of the plug was corroded) so lucily changed them at 40k and not 60k.

I managed to do a tank in 169m once in the C6 and that was really giving it some... 150m WOW have a feeling you were running rich.

I assume you mean as MUCH as 250? I thought for a long time time that everyone else was getting 300+ from a tank and I was had a very heavy right foot :bash: Seems not though. To be honest I try and drive a steadily as I can most of the time which is a real waste for this car as a) I'm not having fun and b) it doesn't work! I have finally moved so my daily commute has now gone up to 50 miles / day and in the RS that is going to bankrupt me before long :drink: Hopefully I have a nice little A2 TDI lined up or I'm going to start selling body parts to fund food :boohoo:
