AFAIK, its only the right number plate light which is monitored by the central electronics unit for resistance.
Rest can just be normal LED's.

Hi Chris.

Yes audi do them, you need 4H0 943 021 and 4H0 943 022.

i can supply these for £26 posted with 2 new screws which will be a torx screw as the phillips seem to round off.

you can get them from Audi for about £11 each and the new screws which are about £1

the postage is £3.65 but its upto you, i make nothing on this. just offering you a one stop lighting service.

These will not work error free on the B7 tho so dont order them for that.

Also the bulbs under the mirror are already LED and are nice and bright so i ve not made an upgrade.

Adam.
Yes they are nice and crisp like the R8, the R8 led's are more directional so they are facing down at the front seats only, the C6 is made to light up the cabin.

Also there's no mention on this thread about fault codes.
no fault codes on the inside, how ever the plate lights on a b7 will fault code readless what LED's you get, you need resistors which i dont really like using.

will PM you now.

thanks

My LED number plate lights havent thrown up any errors since installing, must be about 10 months now.
The first set of bulbs i tried had erros but i got a set of LED which replace the units so probably have built in reistsers to stop the errors but it avoids having to alter / cut into the standard wiring like most other resister solutions.

I bought them from ebay but can't log onto ebay from work PC for a link.

Yes. when i get home at 11 i will, i did take a picture but i didnt put it up as this was the c6 bit. all are the same as the C6 LOON but you have differant footwell lights, they are the same as the puddle lights which are the 4 yellow squares.

hope that helps.

Gotto say for 80 quid theyre one of the best mods you could imagine. DIY level install, I also had Trups helping me over the fone as im a complete novice with interior trim, and was <beep> scared of damaging anything if pulled or pryed in the wrong way. Totally transforms the interior ambience and look absolutely sick from outside at night. Takes the car to Illuminati level of lighting coolness.

All you need is a flat head screw driver, a bit of dexterity, a floor mat for lying on to get to the puddle lights under the doors and a phillips for unscrewing the bottom of the rear door cards to release some more cable to unclip the lights from the sockets.

Not hard to install, inexpensive and a well worthwhile exercise.
:biggrin3:

Oh just dont leave your ignition, exterior lights, bluetooth and cd blaring for two hours as I did whilst doing it a because you wont have any battery left DOH!
