So here is my big plan ceramics! Virdee will be fitting them very shortly! :biggrin3:

Front and rears, discs and caipers (rears still in the box) with a grand total of 18,000 km on the,. So still like brand new, a total pain getting the over from Germany, but at a stunning price and low miles I had to get them.

Then size of them inn dal life are huge, th front discs are 420mm and massive!

Less unsprung weight means better steering feel and a faster car.
Too much power is barely enough.

Awesome!!

Ref painting them, I'd trust a job like that to James @ OBDWorks.

His attention to detail is staggering, won various concourse competitions with his S8 and dubs.

I was going to ask him to paint mine, the Audi Ceramic bit is faded and the red sport logo.

Mention me if you get in touch.

Great work Andy, they look even bigger off the car. They make such a difference you'll love them. I think you also need the car coded in for ceramics as I believe there is some coding that relates to them auto clearing in the wet the standard brakes don't have.

Look forward to seeing them on the car soon (and let me know if you want to grab lunch and talk cars outside the office :)).

that's a nice touch and will certainly make a huge difference, let us know how do you feel it afterwards.

R33 - standard brakes also have the option of being cleared when is raining, as far as i know it comes active by default, regardless of the brake system, my '12 GTI had it as standard.
