Where are you located roughly? Few good companies in Kent.Andrew Bird wrote:This has at least motivated me to email a company to start looking at getting my wheels refurbed - then on to the body work.

I live in Henley on Thames. Have a recommendation for a company called ThreeSixty Wheels in Reading so have dropped them a line. If anyone knows of somewhere around these parts - let me know. Also need a decent body work place - I bought the car for a good price as it stood, low owners and mechanically lot's of money was spent by the previous owner but he had children and dogs which hasn't helped it cosmetically and there are a few car park type dents etc. on top of the rear bumper dog damage.

Are they doing the oil seal with the engine in?
Booked mine in today to get the wheels and body work sorted next month.

Yes sir with the engine in, we couldn’t see a reason the engine would have to come out to do it!!!Andrew Bird wrote:Are they doing the oil seal with the engine in?

All done and just got home
Paul said it wasn’t anywhere near as hard as he thought it would be.
Mine is the first C6 they’ve done and they did it with the engine in, they also do coolant pipes with the engine in.
Price for the oil seal including changing the radiator as it was leaking was £2585 without the rad it’s £2250 or there abouts, which I think is similar to what Unit20 charge.
Coolant pipes they do with the engine in for £750ish not a cut and shut job, genuine new parts completely replacing them.
Re: Full detail and ceramic coat
Thanks - need to get mine looked at. It's started weaping but not too bad yet but requires doing soon. Would be good to find a cost effective solution without loosing the car for ages. I need to get booked in to MRC for an annual service soon so might see ]what they can do with it.
