Car was purchased by myself last year. A few weeks into ownership I joined the Internet forum RS246.com. From what I learned on that site drove me to thoroughly check the car completely. Upon inspection I noticed the dreaded coolant pipe issue and leaking DRC shocks at the front. I was also worried that it would also mean my oil seal ring had gone. Booked the car in with unit 20 asap and got it ferried over from belfast. He was able to tell me the car needed the coolant lines replaced and my suspension woes were what I expected but the oil leak was non existent, everything was dry as a bone. Coolant lines changed and suspension replaced with bilstein fully adjustable all round. Also had a gearbox serviced carried out and an all over inspection.
Car went back to unit 20 again in April for a major service including plugs,itg filters and a revo tecnik remap. Car has just had this week new propshaft bearing, new discs and pads all round and a new alternator. New tyres were put on the car when I purchased it and at that time had the wheels fully refurbished. I've had the steering wheel retrimmed in alcantara and red stictch. Interior is very clean and comes with new summer mats and a full winter set including boot tray. All bulbs inside and out have been changed to LED. Rear lights have been replaced with new items to take that bad faded plastic look away. MMi has been updated to latest software. Also had front and rear diffusers and b pillars covered in carbon fibre.
In my ownership I have completed around 7000 miles and have 1000's in reciepts. I've taken the hit for a new owner. The car drives like new, no rattles bangs or wobbles and pulls like a train, with 720hp, New job and other incomplete projects unfortunate forces sale.
