Hi All,
Have tried to find an answer - naada! Hoping someone knows.
Can we switch the RSAP/SAP (remote sim access protocol) off when connecting to the phone? I've got an Android. When it connects to my phone, the SIM becomes 'unavailable' in the phone and instead, available on the MMI. That's not what I want.
I would like the MMI just to be a bluetooth car kit in essence. Is this possible?
Cheers

Re: MMI Telephone Connectivity
Had a search through the Telephone menu on the MMI, and found there is an option called 'Pin for Handsfree' (or words to that effect) in which you can change the pin. This mode allows the phone to connect to the MMI as a handsfree only which is what I wanted. In my case, the pin was a simple 1234 according to the menu option.
The sequence is as follows:
Connect via Bluetooth from the phone, when asked for the pin, enter 1234. The phone will no longer connect via RSAP/SAP and all other functions on your phone will work normally whilst connected to the MMI.
Hope this helps someone else!
