Location and resistance of the oil temp sensor

Hello and thanks for membership. just bought an rs6 c6 v10 and my oil temp sensor shows 165 degrees.. want to know location and the reistance of it,so i can put an resistor. thanks in advance.

Second: I'd hesitate to put in a resistor, "redneck style".
