To sharp and edgy for the softer and rounder C6, would work well on a C7

These are the wheels I was looking at for the C7.

Its good to see them on what I think is an rs7. I wasn't sure they'd fit without a huge spacer. The websites say I need a 15mm spacer with a ET32 which would make them stick out loads. I was going to buy 1 to test fit on front and rear and then eother order the other 3, or order 2 with a less concave fitment to clear front calipers or sell it on if it doesn't fit at all.

As above, don't think they'll suit the C6 Mart. Put the money towards a C7!!!!!!

see if they are in http://www.3dtuning.com - You can build a RS6 C6 Saloon as the RS6 body parts are part of the selection choices .. Sadly no Avant

Thx for the comments so far.

I don't quite get the comments re the C6's lines being too soft and round though, you can't get much rounder and more curvy than the 911 pictured, and yet the XO wheels shown suit it well.

Assuming I opt for one of the two pairs of wheels, what's people's preference? The issue here is that they are very few options in 21" with the right offset to fit the c6 :)

As wheels go and not necessarily what will suit the C6 best I prefer the TSW.
I know there aren't many wheel that will fit in 21" as I've been looking for the C7. Have you though about another Audi wheel? Maybe one of the C7 RS6 wheels? Or a Q7 / A8 wheel with spacers? S8 Rotors?

The C6 and the C7 use quite different offsets. C6 uses a +36 offset in 20” and C7 uses +25 in the 21”.

For 21” wheels on the C6, in order to run 295 tyres without any rubbing you need a +40 offset. The XO wheels are custom offset, and the TSW come in a 41 offset, so perfect for the C6 :)

Itnis ET 25 for the 20" wheels. The 21" wheels I believe are ET32.

Yes, you are right, I'm having a brain meltdown this week. The C7 20s are ET21 and 21s are ET25. The TSW ones I'm looking at getting are ET32!!!!

Seeing as the C7 wheels need a 12-15mm spacer to sit flush with the arch, there is clearly loads of room for much wider tyres in there and extra grip. You have at least 10mm either side to play with, meaning that you can fit a 305mm tyre in there. I would be opting for a 11" wide wheel in that case. Both XO and Vossen wheels do custom offsets, so worth looking at them.

Mart.
