Tailgate full of water!!

So despite not being covered, Audi UK authorised Eastbourne to crack on. Result.

Turned out the water was coming in around high level brake light. Replaced it, sorted.

They also resolved the soft-close door failure.

What's next I wonder...

I must get onto Audi this week actually as I have some corrosion on the wheel arch and boot that I want sorting… is paint warranty 6yrs or longer/less?

Good look pain is 3 and rust is 12 but my run ins with them in the past basicly they will only cover cavitys on rust protection and it must have a rust hole was what I got told

It's always worth a call to Audi uk. They gave a large contribution when my prop shaft main bearing failed

Have you tried pouring water in to see if this is the fix for this problem?

I personally haven't but they assured me that they tested it afterwards and it was sound as a pound.

So it was just the a case of replace the 3rd brake light and it was sorted right?
