You'll need larger intakes too. And a tuffened (bro science term) gearbox.

I'm shocked that you are telling people that an uprated GB and torque convertor is ONLY needed with MRC's 1k. Are you going to put your name on paper for all those who fit your turbos with a stock gear box?.

Wasn't you the guy to highlight these turbos norm was not 850+ or are they now a 1000+ norm.

David don't misread me..what I'm saying is if you want 1000+ then sure big intakes and MRC used sportmile upgrade box

I have been selling hybrid turbochargers for the rs6 c6 for many years so I've seen many results. Not all tunes/software or hardware is the same from car to car or tuner to tuner. Meaning the tuner decides what's safe and how hard to push things based on there or the customers goals.

When did I say that your turbos only produced 850+.... let me correct you... you stated that all your cars with your 850+ turbos produced min 850+ and I found one which produced less thats all.

Well, thats not what it sounded like... you should had made it VERY clear to people ( we are dumb). I know that once you fit hybrids to the RS6 you are asking the stock box to work over load and WILL break eventually IMO regardless if its only a 850+ or a 1K tune.

ATEOTD, if someone is spending X amount on hybrids etc, they sure will want the max out from the tune and not to hold back because of the limitation of the stock box?????

Anyway... It's only good for you to explain things and answer questions as honest as possible.

No I did not say All I said 850+ is the norm.. Meaning average. You made the point of that.

I think there's many out there on stock boxes. I've sold LOTS of these over years. I think I've only heard of a few upgrading the boxes or maybe I just missed or tuners not sharing and I really don't hear of issues.

No you misread or twist my words there.

I have no proof so did not want you too twist my words again, if I said all are not on uprated boxes... Maybe ask MRC as they done quite a few.

Quick scan on there FB and I've not seen them mention uprated boxes before have you I could be wrong. Or are all fitted with then David but they don't mention? I could be wrong it has been known lol
