How did you manage to fit it as the oem one comes with a side lock? and where did you get it from? does it come with the gear liver too??

Do the same job, fraction of the price.

Do you find they get I the way at all with normal driving?

Used them before and they are <beep>.
Too much power is barely enough.

I pretty much exclusively use the paddles when driving and they work great, they have a nice soft touch feel and they match the interior of the car well. Whilst the real carbon ones look really nice I'm not sure they'd actually perform better. Mine have got caught on my cargo shorts a couple of times when maneuvering and with any bigger paddles this would be much more of a problem for those that sit close to the wheel like I like to.
