Never had this issue. A mapped C6 isn't easily detected, like some of the TD1 models, I watched a senior tech and master tech conclude a 700BHP one was standard (not mine, my customer's) after doing a full inspection and specifically searching for a map.

Without wanting to 'dis your tech, what does that say about the quality of the techs?!

Good results btw!!

I'd love some official clarification on the MTM Audi supported maps. I've never seen anything official from Audi or MTM confirming this. Just a few odd forum posts here and there quoting MTM, they should be advertising this everywhere, nothing on their website!?

Also, remember Sains400's B8 S4 with MTM Cantatronic, it wasn't a good quality map, all the fuelling etc was just wrong (I don't understand the full mapping process but most of the parameters were running quite unefficently, or unproperly, thread on SRS somewhere. Once MRC got hold of the car, he never looked back. (I still made him look like he were going backwards at Brunters in the C6 though. )

I'd trust QST and Kim Collins with my car anytime, and I'd love some of their products, but I'll stick to MRC for coding.

I came to the conclusion it wasn't very obvious to see the map, not without logging boost etc... Which wasn't done. The C5 was the same. You might be right, I did inform them of the map btw, both argued with me it was standard, suited me and my customer. :sekret:

i think it was 380, but then you need to remap it to get any worth out of it.

Thanks. I've had a stage 2 but I need to get a bunch of work done. I need to have an engine mount replaced, a gearbox service and map and potentially the pre cats gutted now so if the S2 map needs a tweak it's no problem! I'm paranoid about the noise though. Where abouts are you in Kent as I'm down in Kent next weekend in Tunbridge Wells for a few days if it would be possible to have a listen at some stage?

I'd be interested to hear your thoughts (R33) on the increased exhaust volume after the cat delete. I'd like to go ahead with this mod but the volume concern is holding me back at the moment. London neighbours don't always share the same levels of enthusiasm for modified exhausts!!

Please let me know what you think if you meet up with Andy.

Thanks.
