Hi All,

New to the forum and rs cars. Been wanting one for a while and am finally in position to do so. Was holding out for the new rs4 but after looking at its stats and reviews I'm not sure its gonna tick the boxes anymore.

So RS6 is the way forward!!!! :jump_clap:

Saw 2 saloons on autotrader from Audi dealers this morning

Anyone on here have any insights on these 2 particular cars?

Also I wanted to ask how can I get the full options list for the cars? I've asked the dealers and they just told me to check the website, which from what I can tell just shows the standard spec.

Lastly what options are a must have and anything in particular I should be looking out for when viewing the cars.

Sorry for the many questions, your expertise would be greatly appreciated.

Probably of no use, but I'd go and see the black one first and then the blue one as I would have the blue one. Maybe take a picture of the option codes (is it in the rear wheel well on a C6?). Donny and Sheff are part of the Gilders group I think (both equidistant from me ~30mins to each).

Welcome

For options, try here: http://forum.rs246.com/viewtopic.php?f= ... t=variants

And use this: http://igorweb.org/equidec/ enter the option codes from the Sticker on the inside of the owner's manual of the vehicle you are considering. You can also match them back to the above thread.

Must have spec, see views here http://forum.rs246.com/viewtopic.php?f= ... on#p483124

Enjoy the search...

Edit: for me, option preference is Ceramics (rare), keyless, 3G, soft close doors, adaptive cruise
Daytona C6 RS6 Avant: Demand Engineering Exhaust (Downpipes custom to tip)
Soon to add: Hybrid Turbos; Uprated Gearbox; Marston Intercoolers; ECU / TCU mapping

PhilT ditto about the sepang blue one it does look stunning. Im finding myself more drawn the to black one though. Maybe its the spec.

Thanks for the info C6NVS. I'll see if I can get the dealer to send me a pic of the option codes in the manual.

Thanks alot guys

The Black looks like it has a better spec, from what i can see it has the 3G and keyless.

As said get try for the soft close doors as they are awesome so you dont have to slam the door.

The Blue is a nice colour as you see the curves but the black is more stelth.

do a good test drive to make sure its fine, dont take Audi's word that the car is good as i got a right shocker from them, all sorted now tho but i was paying for an RS6 that i didnt have for 3.5 weeks.

Gonna try and get over next weekend for a test drive. Hopefully I can get the drives back to back and hope they haven't gone by then.

Dace C. The avant definitely shows off the arches better. I was looking at avants to begin with but the saloon has definitely grown on me.

Hi Op
This may be me being over cautious, but that link shows the full postcode of the address searched from and you'd not want to publicise a home address of an RS6 owner as these cars do go walkies occasionally

Fwiw, the blue looks nice, but I've always been a black car man
