Adrian Flux...generally theyve been good over the years...time for change me thinks?

Had two minor knocks BOTH other peoples fault and settled as such....its just not fair that even when its not youre fault you are penilised????.....absolute rip off!!

Pissed off.....off to go compare!!!!!!!

Typical Flux tactic, last year they sent me my renewal for over a grand, called to cancel as I found cover for 700 elsewhere, Flux immediately offered to match it

So I'd Shop around, call several insurers, the ones who Sponsor Audi SRS are a good start and always helpful on the phone, obtain some other quotes, and call Flux last of all to see if they are interested retaining you

I was with Flux for just under 12 years, they were never the cheapest but would always match any cheaper price you could find.

They wanted £1500 to insure my RS4 so I told them to poke it, got it with Admiral for £466.

As mentioned above always Shop around, it’s so easy to move companies now with the internet, used to be a massive pain having to phone around. There is no loyalty staying with any company these days.

Cheers

Unfortunately they jack up the premiums even if any accidents weren't your fault... complete joke.

I've put all the excesses on max given nothing is cheap to fix on RS6... and if it is, your insurance will go up by that much anyway.

Hate to say it, but Admiral every year. Win by a country mile. Price AND service.

Why do they have to be based in Wales? Damn my money helping Welsh RFU...they don't need any help.

i've been with Elephant for the last few years (think they are the under the same parent company as Admiral but could be wrong). Have been the cheapest for a while now.

If my premium jumped £500 i would almost double it!! am pretty sure in May the years insurance was £590 (limited to 10k a year with excess raised to £500 and parked in street).

What pisses me off is the fact the two small bumps I've had....both idiots running into me and settled as such... Go against me !!!! What's that all about?of course the insurance companies won't admit it but they do...sly bastards!!!

Any way I've been shopping and have got it down to less than this year BUT excess is huge!! Can't win!!

Wouldn't worry about a high excess. With two non fault claims against you now, if you scrape a bumper or something similarly minor with nobody else involved you may decide to not claim anyway. The excess on my 205 GTi was £1000 at one stage, if I rolled it into a field I was never going to claim, the no claims was more important to me back then.

Don't you just love it when people admit to insurance fraud openly online ;)

i paid £1150 for the year with admiral on multi car, im 24, gf is 23 and we both have a excess set at £350, im 25 in nov and my excess will go down to £200. Other car is a Polo TDi sport which is an extra £350 to insure. so not bad.

Shop around, dont go on compare the market as they do credit searches and give you some daft prices, for me they wher daft.

£680 with admiral. 300 excess I'm 31. Not to bad, but even admiral tried to stiff me at renewal time. They undercut themselves on the requote?

Also with Admiral, £890 for multi car for me and the wife. Only £560 for me and her on my car and £460 just for me. Shes had more bangs than i had hot dinners and its always "it wasnt my fault".

Admiral have been the cheapest for years.

So nice of Flux to take out £585 from my bank today for a policy on a car that I know longer own and wasnt due to expire till the 27th of this month. I even called them on the 18th saying I wouldn’t be renewing as no longer own the car.
