Fron Discs & pads cost ?

Ok, can someone put me out of my misery ahead of tomorrow...

Costs for front discs/pads and fitting

Car has done 18k miles, but there is some significant scoring on the front discs already and the pad sensor is intermittently coming on.

I know its going to be painful.

Warranty?

Had mine replaced by Audi due to cracking the discs and superheating/killing the pads.

Get up early, go to "the track" and keep stopping hard from flat out till you break them

£1k - is that with fitting? Is it just me or is that waaay cheaper than the C5 RS standard brakes? Yes I know this is the C6 forum...

Yes - they cost £1060 incl of VAT, fitting and sensors...

discs £275 each , pads £160 + vat ..off the top of my head.

I think my pads are near the end and Audi said the discs need replacing should the discs be under warranty on 20k miles?

Camberley Audi did front brake discs + pads + labour at around 1k.

Don't think they'll cover brakes under warranty with 20k miles on them... I've replaced one set of pads at around 17k, then a couple of trips to germany later and at 27k got new discs and pads.

Panda, I've got C6 discs and callipers, Grizz put them on a year ago (for my birthday). I was more interested if there were alternative pads for the C6 setup.

Whats wrong with the originals? You sure you not fitted them inside out ??
