Road noise?
Road noise?
Anyone find road-noise a bit too intrusive in their C6 RS6s? I'm waiting patiently for my current tires to wear out so that I can try some other brand, so we'll see if they make a difference.

RE: Road noise?
I've got Pirelli P Zero 275/35 20s all round & road noise is minimal. Great ride comfort & superb chassis offer a solid comfortable ride. The DRC works very well, so lets hope the system does not fail like the previous DRC systems !

RE: Road noise?
I have Dunlops all round, the road noise is proportional to the quality of the road surface, but beyond that I wouldn't say it was intrusive.
I find that there is an unusual "rumble" as well as the normal tyre noise on all road surfaces other than the very smoothest - from 15mph up to 70mph -- could be the tyres or suspension -- Audi seem to recognise that there is a problem - and are currently trying to get to the bottom of it.

I find the road noise excessive, running on Pirellis at the moment. It does vary by road surface, but I still think it's too high. Trying to source a set of Michelin PS2s (apparently Michelin is no longer producing them, which seems insane to me, as they offer no equivalent tyre), if I'm successful I'll share my impressions of them.
