2011 S5 CAB

Post by sonny » Sun Apr 03, 2011 10:05 am

Posting for my friend/work colleague who is a non forum member.

He just took delivery of his 2011 S5 Cab, (paid cash) so to say he is happy is a understatement.

Apologies for the bad quality pictures, his photographic skill are a bit of a let down :biggrin3:

Anyway here's some pics.

Let us know what you think.

P.S I take it this is a B8 platform?

Very nice, definitely prefer the cab to the coupe. Not sure I would spend £50k on a new one though.

Dave he does not even know what a 'RS' is, in fact he never knew what a 'S5' was, he liked the shape of the A5 and ended up ordering the S5 lol...go easy on the old chap as he is reading this lol...oh and don't mention MLC ;)

Paul&Steve yep the coupe looks good and Im not sure how long they have been out, always thought they did a CAB (not really clued up on the S5).

Does this V6 have a Turbo or a supercharger? (I should know considering how long I have been on this forum).

Thank you Spagbowl, and the 'T' in TFSI stands for Turbo right?

"V6T" is written on the wings.

My mistake, looking forward to your first thoughts on the engine.

Yeah, audi have got it arse about fist

My S4 will have V6T on the wings also

Should be V6S

Tbh, bit strange audi whopped out a supercharger, its not exactly their forte, don't know why a normal turbo wouldn't have done the job, certainly would have made tuning it easier

Best looking cab on the market i thinks. If the lotto win was mine i would buy one, and i normally wouldn't be seen dead in a cab

dunc
previous- Pug 205 gti, 306 gti, 309 gti Goodwood.
Audi S3, S4 V8 avant.
Porsche Macan Turbo.
Gone but NEVER forgotten - C5 RS6 Misano red avant.

Now - Empty garage

If you don't know where you're going, any road will take you there!
