I've just bought a 2007 s6 and although I'm really happy with the car I feel it's lacking in the styling stakes. I'm not a fan of the ebay type chav spoilers. I'm thinking about an rs6 front bumper so it still looks sort of factory but not sure if it will A. look crap or B. Fit. Has anybody done this??

It would take quite a bit of modification around the arches due to the flare of the RS6 wouldn't it?

I know the grill is the same but you would need to do something with the drl's and possibly the washer jets?

I'm just not sure it would make that much difference one altered to fit the S6.

There have been at least half a dozen A6/S6s that I have seen on the web that have done the conversion. Most of them are in Germany. On one of the German forums they outlined the procedure. I google translated it, and it said it was a fairly straight forward job, with minor modification to the circled areas on this car



I have imported an RS6 bumper to Canada myself, and plan to install it on my S6.

No, I haven't. We are busy with the performance side of things...





Cosmetics will likely be last. I had heard it is not that bad, though. Just find a good body shop.

How does the bumper now look? Those manifolds are a work of art, i need a set of those

Did you ever make the rs6 bumper swap ? Were there any issues? Any pictures? Thanks. I'm thinking of doing the swap as a deer rearranged my front bumper and fender.
