S3 iPod Connection

Hi all, finally registered on this site as I'm to be the proud owner of a new S3 within the next few days. Most of my friends are Audi owners (B5 S4's mainly) and I'm a good friend of Ash318 from the B5 S4 forum on here.

I have chosen an S3 in white as I like it & I'm hoping it's making a comeback anytime now. The rest of my spec is as follows:

iPod Connection
DVD Sat Nav
Flat Bottomed Multi Function Steering Wheel
Front Centre Armrest With GSM Phone Prep
Bose
Rear Parking Sensors
Black Style Pack
Privacy Glass

I have a question regarding the iPod connection though as I have an iPod Nano but all the pictures of the connection I see are with the larger iPod Video. Does anyone know if I can use the Nano? I'm hoping I can as the connections are the same but I'd like to make sure first.

Thanks in advance, John

I thought you'd have had "Give it the berries" as your signature.

Have you got all the nav and iPod stuff sorted now?

Pretty much ok on the Nav now but haven't messed about with the iPod connection yet as I need to get my music into itunes etc. The car will take many variants of iPod though including the slightly older iPod Photo & the newer iPod Video & Nano. As long as it's a 3rd gen iPod (apart from iPod shuffle) it should work.

I gave it it's first proper clean today and it looks the dogs. 8)

Just to clarify on the iPod subject, you get a few different size holders with the car which means you can pretty much fit any iPod (apart from shuffle) as long as it's fairly modern i.e. iPod photo, video, nano etc.
