TBH Nick, I've been expecting this price-hike all along !!!!

They just seemed to come in very cheap from "the off".
Either a: they f*cked-up their original pricing or b: They're now getting greedy when the deals so close.

If it were me and it was only my money.... I'd tell them to shove the deal (no matter how good). Play them at their own game. As I say... if it were only me.

Can't believe they won't include carriage on an order that size, considering they have vans that run around all day delivering parts here, there and everywhere, it wouldn't be much effort for them to ship to their local branches.
Call me a pedant, but I don't want to commit with details until I know what it's going to cost. I don't want to mess anyone around saying yes and then find out they're going to charge an unrealistic fee for delivery.
Fair play to you for sticking with this  , sounds like they're being awkward for some reason or other.
Please keep us updated.
Thanks.

Have you contacted the various sellers on eBay?

This guy has them on there all the time, £510 for rears with free postage:-

It was more about the inconvenience of 20 different couriers being organised by the purchasers, than the cost.

So why doesn't the seller just charge everybody £20 and use the same courier to send them rather than having people arranging to collect? I live near enough to Klauster anyway so I'd probably collect mine :-)

I have a reply off another seller, I asked "out of interest what's the best price you can do on around 20 pairs of discs (mix of front and rears)", they replied within 2 minutes asking me to call them. Should I get a price anyway?

Not concerned about 'free' postage and I know it's a good deal. I was just asking the obvious question 'how much'.
I was also hoping I wasn't going to have the hassle of organising couriers and needing to be around when they deliver, when there's a TPS store 10 - 15mins away.

Guys, its as simple as this, I have asked and they won't cover courier costs or want to organise shipping. I don't know why, but when they say no, and I ask again..what can you do... and the guy says we can't help with courier costs or shipping internally to other TPS offices, then I believe him, however big the order is....

So instead I am trying to get enough off the prices to cover it. At the end of the day arranging a courier to pick something up isn't rocket science, just a tiny bit of hassle.

The courier side of it isn't important, as the end of the day, lets get a price for the parts, then worry about how we get them to the buyers, if I can do the deal on the parts I will look at courier prices, and might be able to sort something yet were I ship them, although on the size of order, it does put me off abit doing that ;)

There is always the option of me picking up your order and you coming to collect from me if you live localish.

Having measured the discs today, based on the max. and min. thicknesses quoted in this thread it would appear that the 'specialist' working on my car was wrong. The discs are just over half worn and I reckon there's at least a good 10k left in my old discs which for me will be around 3 years worth.

Apologies again, but if anyone would like to take my reservation for FRONT discs, and Nick has no objections, please feel free.

Thanks again to Nick for taking the time and effort to organise this group buy.

Those wondering why they cant ship to other branches, each tps is run by the staff of an established dealer who have tendered a bid to run that tps for a set amount of years, that means every tps is run by a different dealer,im sure you could understand it would be a logistical nightmare.
