Changing the odometer from KMs to Miles

Hello all I'm new to all this and I have a question....

I have a Facelift December 1999 S4 with a pre facelift dash. My odometer is currently in KM's - I want to change it to miles....!

How do I do it...???

Divide by 1.6

Try altering the country coding of the cluster, that should do it.

Yep, you need vagcom but you can do it through one of the adaptation channels for the instruments.

Rob, actually not. Adaptation channel 4 is only responsible for the language, while the coding (the digit for the country) is the one which tweaks country specific settings like the units in which data is being shown.
