MAF looks very good and timing isn't too bad in the mid range.

What are the mods on your car Mark ?

Just AMD remap and Miltek cat back. Oh and Forge BPV's, not that they will make any difference for this test...

Mid range does seem the strongest on the car...

Could a high MAF reading be an air leak? Turbo's dragging air in but being lost before it's burnt...

Could be, just try a run later on in clear air.

your maf is very good I get 256 max but my timing is a lot higher than yours .

just to pick 2 points.

rpm 5480 i get 15.8 BTDC
rpm 6880 i get 24 BTDC
BMW 540i
2018 GTR
F90 M5
X3MC
RS3 Saloon
RS7 FL best car I've owned. No faith in turbo oil screen (turbos failing) or sticking oil scraper ring causing missfires.
F10 M5 LCI still no rear grip lol
S7 black Edition Too big and heavy
S3 8V FL DSG 310ps, road noise is a joke
RS3 8P Rubbish
C7 RS6 Fantastic car but missed playing
GTR R35 800bhp, too extreme, crazy fast though
911 Turbo Remapped. Hated it
F10 M5, awesome but no rear grip
RS6 V10 700BHP crazy
Porsche Cayenne Turbo S 600bhp

I'm thinking I've got an air leak. I think I'll log boost to see how that looks...

I ran a log on 115 this morning... I think it confirms I have a boost leak. Anyone else agree?

revs load Spec Actual
/min % mbar mbar

2080 42.90 1000 1030
2120 65.40 1400 1010
2280 106.0 2280 1180
2400 133.1 2250 1410
2600 164.7 2250 1700
2880 191.7 2260 2040
3120 190.2 2260 1980
3360 185.0 2230 1940
3640 184.2 2210 1940
3840 181.2 2180 1960
4040 131.6 1390 1750

I didn't rev it too high, not wanting to over stress the turbo's more than needed...

Thanks
Mark

Mark, looks like it to me - have you checked your BPV's and TBB recently - these are the most likely culprits. Note - you will need to take the tbb off to check it - it's a bit of a pain, but still a DIY job.

I'd check the F-pipe too - definitely need to take that out to check it and best done whilst TBB is off - have one of each to hand! My money would be on the F-pipe.

I'm not normally a betting man Clive, but the odds are against you - F hose failures are still quite rare, whereas TBB failures are almost guaranteed with chipped cars - I replaced mine with a samco as soon as I bought my S4. :beerchug:
