it's 3rd gear. How did you work out 12 seconds? Normally VAG-COM is 3.3 samples/s for sampling one
group. You have approx 20 samples between the measured points which indicate a FATs time of ~7secs
which is about right for stock.

I would expect a 1.6 Golf to do 60 - 95 in 12 secs! :-)

MAF figures look OK. Log block 115 and see what the boost is doing.

did a couple more runs with my std S4 with MTM chip.... weight seems to make a big diff.... I had a mate in the car and got 6 sec. By myself and 1/4 tank at ten degrees temp I got 5.39 (slight downhill i guess!!??)and A 5.54 , I put a 1/4 tank of fuel in (no optimax in sight!) and bought a bottle of gas (30kg maybe?) and went up to 6.05....... all seem consistant....Good stuff...

BTW.... does anyone have alink to this page that works out HP in Minheas oginal post?

"Here is also a FATS to HP calculator, seems pretty close to my estimations (I used 3770lbs for my car in this run, it comes up with 354 crank HP, I did come up with 350 HP based on the MAF output. http://www.vastperformance.com/faq.html "
Cheers.

I'm no expert so can't comment on the figures but if you read through the pages of this thread for similar spec cars (remember to post the spec with yours) you can compare MAF, timing times to see how yours is doing.

I would say my MAF readings look good but timing low, so will probably do a log to see if the timing retards and the performance/bhp looks low. I think the intercoolers might have been a little hot as I'd just come out of a 30 zone...
