Looking for Daytona V10

Hi lads,

My TTS RS4 should be getting collected later so have been perusing for V10s. I dont think I could go from a charged B7 to a standard V8 tbh. Asking for a bit of potentially unusual advice here really.

I love the Daytona and there don't seem to be many on the sales sites right now... however I also love the Sepang. Ive noticed a hell of alot of white ones and to be honest i would probably have any of the aboves.

My question is the a particluar rule of thumb in which ones hold their money better? I do love a car that holds its residuals well!

Ideal spec...V10, Daytona, Ceramics (not that fussed) Manual. Budget is 70K and thats pushing it a bit further than I wanted really. There is currently a V10 in Daytona with ceramics but its 09 (not really ideal for having a balloon payment) and its r tronic. Gutted.

Anyone have a daytona 10 plate in manual for sale? :biggrin3:

You can still get a finance with a balloon on an older car. You need to change your broker.

PCP are limited to 5yrs, but Lease purchase with balloon is possible

Speak to Oracle.

Yes you missed out on mine. Sold fookin cheap, you'd still have £10k in your pocket if you bought mine

Colour doesn't impact residual on these as they are all as boring as each other except blue and red

Sometimes it amazes me how much sense you make.

Only trouble with the PCP is they are bigger balloons. My broker is pretty good I think and at the moment on a 2011 he can get a 25k deposit on a 68k car to £570 a month. Roughly where I want to be. I paid 452 on the RS4 when I first bought it.

Was the comment about finance more to do with the fact that most companies will not lend on a car unless it is less than 8 years old at the end of the term. So you could only get a 2 year loan on an 09 car now.

Finance is all a game of numbers anyway.

Sorry Mike I minced my words there... what I meant the trouble with NOT using a PCP and going for lease purchase is that the lease purchase have smaller balloons. I can get a flat rate of 2.4% so I am peased with that. Just didn't want a smaller balloon which would then increase my payments to over £600 which makes it uncomfortable with my mortgage.

Basically if I put down £25145 on a 2011 68k car (the only V10 Manual I can see at the moment) the payments are £570 and the balloon is larger than even if I went for a 2010. Cheaper per month for a newer car which is a bit backwards!

Bit of confusion for me on the colour too? Is there actually a 'better colour.' I can't see the red being popular becuase its trying to be 'Ferrari' or something like that.

The red and carbon is by far the best combo IMO
