Car off to MRC

After much deliberation I've finally taken the plunge and decided to go the whole hog and splash out on a TTS supercharger! The PES has been an absolute hoot but I always knew deep down that it was going to be a stepping stone both financially, and in performance terms towards a TTS. Only the best for my car!
Lets hope I'm not going to be disappointed with the improvement as its costing me a frigging small fortune.
I thought about putting the money towards a B8 RS4 (another 35k+) but;
A) I don't like the look of it (yet?) and its just not special enough for me.
B) It would cost me well over £70k to get a similar spec car to what I've got now and it obviously wouldnt have a supercharger!
C) I couldn't live with the depreciation on a new car.
D) I like my B7 too much to sell it, in short, I don't feel ready to move on yet.
Counting down the days already......

Sounds like you made the right choice, a charged B7 is just about as special an Audi as you can have. You defiantly cannot say the same about the B8. What're you doing with your old kit?

Agreed. The PES has been sold to another forum member from Scotland.

Hi Danny, It should be down for a week but as you know it might take longer! I managed to squeeze a good deal out of 5star for a two way delivery but thanks for the offer.
Thanks for all the other comments guys.

Hi Jules, I thought you were selling your car? I was going to put it on the forum open to offers but I got a very good offer without having to advertise.

Hi Paddy,
Very happy to recommend 5star transport. I got them through DannyRS4 and he's used them lots. Very good service all round and easy to deal with. Oh, and they are very good on price too Spent about an hour (!) speaking to the driver on Monday and they transport lots of 'nice' cars all over the country every day, Ferraris, Lambos etc. so they are used to handling decent stuff.

Initially I thought it was expensive but once you work it all through and consider; fuel costs to get there(and back home once done), transport costs to get home (and back to pick the car up), the miles on the car, and your time travelling, it definitely makes sense to transport.

I would love to listen in to your calls when you are getting quotes for insurance
"Does your car have any modifications sir?"

You'd be surprised I think. £540 fully comp and protected, all mods declared.
