Hello again,
Just wondering if its worth fitting the EBC Yellow Pads or just stick with the standard Audi ones on the front of my B7 Avant?
All comments and opinions appreciated!!
Cheers!!

Just changed my front and rears to Ferrodo Premium, as I don't track car, I went for standard pads and to be honest I can't tell the difference, apart from the price, 130 ish for both sets

Sounds nice and cheap, considering the standard Audi ones are around £250 just for the fronts, I'll have a look into them.
Cheers Grars!!

I can't see the point of buying a performance car and then skimping on tyres / pads / disks / oil etc - seems rather self defeating to me...

I fitted Brembos on the front recently and they came to £174 at Kwik fit with a lifetime guarantee including wear so my next set for the front is free!

The Brembo's sound good too, I would be more than happy to spend the £250 on Genuine Audi ones but if I can get better for the money then I want them. I've heard the EBC Yellow Stuff pads are good, and like I say I'll easily spend the cash but what will be the best buy????
Cheers.

+1 here. I played very briefly with equivalent Pagid pads but they were terrible. I'm not even sure they survived the bedding in procedure. The OEMs are good. As far as I can tell all other pads either save you money or reduce dust.

Cheers Folks,
Well it seems to be a toss up between the EBC Yellow or the OEM pads, I think I might give the EBC's a try this time.
Cheers!!

I use EBC YS on the rears only and DS2500 up front, even though I dont track my car any more I still like that set up. I even have DS2500 on the Clio now.
The EBS YS is a OK pad, they still come with wear sensors and provide lots of grip with minimal brake dust...however they wont last as long as the OEMs or other pads.
Price should not really come into it, I understand we all have skint months etc....
Try the EBCs, its the only way to make a true decision.
