mf51y wrote::thumbs: very nice ive been thinking about spacers for a while people here go for 10mm rear and 8mm front I think but 11mm all round is a new one on me and looks brilliant. Where did you source spacers etc from?
:D
Yeah i cant believe the transformation for the sake of 10mm. It sits so much nicer now. I am still tempted by 20s though. I got the spacers from forge motorsport and sourced the bolts and lockers myself. Went for 40mm bolts :beerchug:

Spot on mate they make all the difference, never really thought of Forge for spacers, ended up going H+R a few weeks back.

It really is a reluctant move but I can always come back. Seems a shame to take it all apart after I have just got it how if is, I agree.

Got a 210mile trip around the Peak District on Sunday and I think that will be my last proper outing in her.

I have loved my time with the B7 and it is an amazing car! I just feel it's time to move on now and I want to try other stuff. There is that V10 itch as said above also. I really don't know what to get next if I'm honest but decided if I sell up and the money is in the bank then when the right car does come up I am in a position to buy. As if it were to happen now I may miss the opportunity being in ownership of the RS.

2 years is kind of a cut of point for me where I am used to the car and it starts getting a bit same same and I am at that point now. I think it may be because it's my only car but even still I don't use it all that much and I have done 10k miles in 2 years, 2500 of them being from my road trip through Europe! It will take some beating I do admit!

I have got to admit though I have been looking at and fell a bit in love with the Lotus Exige S2 today. Fun light little car and look the be able to had upto 300bhp pretty easy which will be fun in a light car as it weighs half the RS4 but nothing is set in stone. Going to have around £30k to play with and as any of you will know who look there is a lot of cars to be had in that price range. Maybe they will make me grin like my RS4 has or maybe they won't but I can always come back.

It's been a pleasure being on the forum and I will still post and have a mooch as there are some good people on here. And appreciate the help and knowledge that I have had through this club.

Well a mad purchase but went to get this yesterday. Im in love! Got my test in a couple of weeks but honestly cant wait to get out on her especially on weekends like this one there the weather is so nice.

Took the last couple of bits off the RS4 today and fitted the new Phillips bulbs for the new owner and also corrected the bumper gap to get her looking spot on. It has never been this good since i have owned it and it makes me wish i had done it sooner. Since taking the airbox and exhaust off the car is so boring and quiet i have to say and it just makes me want to be rid of it more. An exhaust is a MUST for these engines!! And after putting standard suspension back on and taking off the spacers Friday i cant believe how different the car looks.

Here are a couple of pictures of how she is standing now. It will be going to Audi this week to have the DRC recharged and then it will be going for a wheel refurb and having new PS3's put on to compliment them so its a sorted motor for the new owner to enjoy problem free :beerchug:

Ben, welcome to the two wheels club! You think the RS4 is quick! I've had a string of R1's.

Safe riding and good luck with the test!

KEV!!!! Nice!! Love love love the 09 Repsol blade - epic.

I cut my teeth on a brand new R6 back in 98'. Did 19k miles in one year on that and it rev'd to 18,000! Then moved to the blue Mikuni carb R1 - that was an animal. Loved it. After that it was a 05 black twin under seat Zorst R1 and I'm seriously hankering for a Italian twin now - RSv4 or Panigale???!!

God I love my rs4 but miss my two wheels. Photos are on my main puter' - will post tomorrow!

Thank you gents. Yeah it has been quite a downer going back to a standard car. But i knew that way i wouldn't change my mind about getting rid. Looking forward to the new venture on 2 wheels though. And im really looking forward to getting involved with the community in biking that i feel the car side has lost.

Wont be going anywhere and i will still poke my head in from time to time.

Love the Repsol Blade!!
