Hi guys, with baby not far away now, Im thinking on getting the isofix brackets for the back of my avant, does anybody know where to get them and how much?
There was a couple of mentions on here somewhere but cant remember where I seen it!

They're already in there - it was standard fitment in the rear seats in the Avant and saloon (cab should also have them in the front as standard)

Nah as far as Im aware they were an option, mine doesnt have them. Unless anybody wants to unbolt theres and I'll buy them...?!

Nope, it was a thread from ages ago, I think a member on here could supply them if I remember....

Are you sure you don't already have them? (or is your car on the cusp of when they were mandatory?)
Have you done a search on here for "isofix" ?

They're not obvious like they are in some other cars i.e they don't have a plastic trim around them - presumably to avoid damaging the leather. If you stick your fingers between the seat and the back (oop, pardon) the metal anchors should be there.

Apologies guys, yes they are there! Just had a look when I got home, I was expecting the plastic trim brackets to be there and showing that they were fitted! Feel quite good now that theyre there!

They were defo standard on UK B7s - it's in the original brochure, so unless someone's removed them they should be there - as TonyHayers says, you have to hunt for them as they're tucked away out of sight, and there aren't any cover trims to give away their location - tilt a seat back fwd and they should be easier to see

they're all part of a single metal bracket running all the way across, held in place with 4 BFO torx bolts, so if yours hasn't got it, it looks like a simple bolt on job from the Audi parts bucket

Just out of interest I just lifted the seat base for the first time to check out the fixings - and as per another recent thread, I found lots of cr@p including a coin (hurray!) but it's Egyptian (no use for buying petrol then ), and also proof that a previous owner either had a dog, or some very hairy children.... Eurgh - been washing my hands ever since!...

Hehe, I panicked when I bought mine too. Had read that isofix was standard, then when got car home couldn't see the fixings I do find them a bit of a pain to attach with them sunk back tbh.
