Came across this in 22B's FlickR gallery from last years July meet... Any idea what bonnet this is and if who the stockist is?

It's a Vorsteiner c/f bonnet for reference, best part of £2k unless you can get a used one which IIRC another member had done that had a scoop in it and they took that out and covered it. Cool bonnets, PITA to secure down. caldy is still around, lurking....

It's stunning isn't it? Totally mint! Better than when it left the factory!

It had only done about 5k miles since leaving the factory in that picture. I'll be amazed if it has done 10k miles yet. That's why the bodywork is so good.

Ahhh - that explains the aero catches above the headlights

Still here!
Bonnet was a double skinned Vorsteiner c/f bonnet sourced from C A Automotive tel:0871 231 1010. I remember that a director of C A A was also a director of a USA supplier and that they were hoping to distribute their range in the UK. I had pre-ordered my bonnet to come with their first container load.
The exchange rate was not in their favour to be competitive and I'm not sure that they pursued things further so this may be the only one they ever sold.
I had the bonnet lacquered and a friend expertly fitted a pair of Aerocatch latches - superb skill to get them spot on, wouldn't have tried it myself. The single, central OE catch is not strong enough to hold the bonnet at speed as the edges flutter. (see the popular USA forum Quattroworld for a post from Mick to see what happens when the bonnet pops)!
Original cost was around £1600 plus lacquer and locks but this was an introductory price only as I was the first in the UK to have one.
Still looks superb over 3 years on and really suits the car.
