Just installing some H&R spacers on the RS4 and I've immediately run into a problem. The 8mm spacers on the front don't seem to be hubcentric.

There is nothing to center the wheel on the spigot at all other than the bolts and, having done this experiment on the RS6, I know this isn't going to work.

Have I got the wrong spacers?

How are you guys doing it?

Yup... you've got the wrong spacers.
Should be hub-centric. H&R do a couple of versions and these aren't the one's you want.

There's a recent thread on here somewhere that shows the correct model numbers.
(or just ask Virdee)

Basically the flange on the hub should fit into the spacer and the spacer provides a new flange for the wheel to seat onto - OP it looks like you are right and your spacers are not hubcentric.

Don't 10mm spacers fit on the front?

Looking at the photo, there is awfully little space between the spigot and the centering ring for a spigot extension on 8mm spacers, especially in aluminium. I would worry about shearing it off.

No Shop'... in the flesh the 8mm with hub is fine. No way you're going to shear them off as your tight against the hub/spacer.
You can put 10's on the front, it's just that most people consider larger rears (relatively) as the preferred setup.

I think people have done front-10 rear-12.
Most people do front-8 rear-10. (it also depends on what tyres/suspension you have)

Cant you just swap the models you have for the correct version, or are they scuffed-up now?

No, I didn't tighten them up. Hopefully they'll swap 'em for the right ones. We'll see. The place they came from doesn't seem to offer the 1655572.

Yes that does happen in your pic if you use the wrong ones or don't follow the instructions inside the box.

I was also surprised when I opened the box and found this all flat spacers... But I thought it was normal.

I'll mail the seller for an exchange between the 2 models, because his website doesn't list different models of 8 mm spacers, and espescially, the choice was made under "made, model" filters and so, the spacer should fit the RS4 b7.
H&R wrote on its notice that an exchange is always possible if the spacers were not used. I hope this is true...
