well, after nearly five years of owning the best car ive had, it was time too let her go.
the rs give me no trouble from day one and i know it will be mist, not only by me but the
neighbours aswell as they always showed an interest in it and the looks you got from most
people turning round or pointing, hand prints on the windows where folks just had too have a nosey.
first person knew wot he was looking for and didnt even barter on the price, i hope he will be as happy
as i was with her.
:boohoo: :bigwave:

Pete you said you wasn't budging thats why I didn't barter Other than the Mot & Service.
After spending what seemed like a lifetime looking on the usual sites constantly,(4-5-6 times a day) being blagged by muppets and dealers selling there cars with "every consievable"(sp?) extra only to look at the photo's and see straight away that its not got every extra and more importantly the extras it didn't have were the ones I actually wanted  Driving miles, waisting hours looking at so called minters.

Seriously, it was by far the best example that we had come across, abit more than I was originally looking to spend (definately more than the other half wanted me to spend) but after a good mooch around it even she said buy it ! which must say something !!! :bigblink:

We had a good steady drive home and as you'd expect I was grinning ear to ear all the way :D
It will be well looked after Pete don't you worry about that.
Looks like the sun might come out today so going to take it for a nice blast, my carbon footprint has been far to small lately, need to make it bigger :biggrin3:

trying to stop grinning evry time you get in and start that v8 will be a bit harder to solve.
