Very local to me, arranged a viewing this week. Only question I have is.. Black optics.. Why no black tips? Is that a milly on the back?? New yellow stuffs on the front.

Tax due soon so will negotiate that in the price :)

Thoughts please

Mate, I'm surprised nobody's replied to your request, the forum is usually very accommodating to people asking for help. Ignore the 'carbon inlay' (came as a no cost option) as did 'sport button'(!), but he's just probably listing the spec so no worries. Brakes sound ok, pads don't cost much, but they are new so fine. The all round DRC refit is worth about £6k so is exceptional to have that on it - check that it is Version 3 just for peace of mind. Mate, looks great though, I'd buy it - looks like a Milly on the back (as it protrudes and isn't flush as the stock is) but have a look as to non-res or res for your preference (and valved/non-valved), black tips it doesn't have, but the stock exhaust never had black tips with black optics. Mate, good luck - I think £22k is a good price IF the DRC has been totally replaced, get RAC to do an inspection and make sure it's DRC V3 not replaced with the same crap V1. Do it, it will change your life!

Give people a chance Tim - it's food & wine time! Looks very tidy to me, although the DRC work is only close to £6k if they a.) were otherwise all about to fail and b.) were to be replaced rather than swapped for coilovers and c.) Audi wouldn't pay a penny (which is unusual...) - even then, I'm not sure it would be this much

Looks like a good motor. Think it maybe a forum car.

I thought all black optics had black exhaust tips. I agree it looks like an aftermarket exhaust though.

Great looking car, black with black optics is the combo I was after but couldn't find the right one. I'm now left with the expense of converting to black optics (just the windows and exhaust to go now).

4 previous owners by the looks. RS04BAM was on there at one point and NA55KAT was another? Anyone recognise for abit of owner history.

I don't think that's such a bad thing on a car like ours
A new owner is more likely to spend what's needed on a car, whereas if an owner was keeping it for a while, their standards might start to slip a bit
I know I tend to look after my cars much more in the first year or whilst the novelty factory's still there

Looks nice from the pics, but well worth getting it checked over by a professional as hidden little things could potentially cost £1000's

I think I know what you mean, but still unfair on the cats

I hope so too - otherwise Graeme may find himself in trouble on the RS(PCA)246 forum!

Haha, I've just re-read that
It's the last time I'm typing a response in a rush whilst using an iPhone :drink:
I'm hoping that you can decipher my shoddy ramblings ?
I'll collect my coat :)

You should try texting people in the car using Siri. That has similarly hilarious outcomes
