Can you take a pic and post it? What is the part number??

The 10mm ones do have a small bevel lip, what is the diameter of the face?

If you look at your picture where the hub meets the inside of the spacer there is a small lip there thats whats stoping spacer going all the way home,

Hi Tim. Are u sorted yet? If not, I better confirm what car u have before I assume its an rs4. Are these spacers 150 mm face hubcentrics? Were they brand new , if so , from where? Ur sure ur not putting them on wrong way round.

Sorted them now thanks, I think they must have been machined very slighty out i just to have 1mm machined of the lip where it buts upto hub and they now fit perfectly and no problems on a fast rd test so all is good and they look great, Cheers

Can you post a pic? They are made from aluminium so should not need shaving down.

Hi sonny, Yes they where H and R and made of alloy as you know, The date on them was 12/2011 so i was thinking they may have been machined very slightly out, the amount i removed was not even 1mm if you did not look really hard at them you would have thought they had gone on correctly but they were sitting very slightly off flat, I had heard some people were having vibration problems when fitting H and R spacers may be this is why, as i say if you did not really look you would think they were ok and sittng flush but if wheel was fitted they would sit slightly on the piss, Cheers Tim.

the hubs come with different hub depths and angles
if you machined it it's not the right one
people have split the spacers by using the wrong ones

when searched for there is no 10 mm RS4 application http://www.trakplus.com/results

faq item 8, note 18 link
http://www.trakplus.com/faq

audi bevel is 45 deg
but height varies: 4, 5, 6.5 and 7 mm
not sure what ours are

looked at mine
AUDI / VOLKSWAGEN

DR / 8 162555716 14.00mm 7.0 x 45 degrees

the spacer will be marked with 7 x 45 or 5 x 45, etc.

As i say i had the 1mm took of and they fit perfect with no problems on test, They would probaly have spilt if i had not took the 1mm of but they went on perfect with no movement in spacer on hub and no movement when spacer fitted into wheel and they where 10mm spacers as i did measure before i fitted them, I think you maybe right about them being in correct but i just had the 1mm difference removed and it only came of the thickist part of spacer, I will keep my eye on them but as they fit perfectly cant see there being a problem, I will how ever be phoning them on tuesday

what area was machined?
the face/thickness or the bevel
I'm guessing had to be the bevel
you made the wall thickness thinner
look at them see if it says 4x45 on them, 3 mm is a big difference
