Anyone else notice the Mugello Avant @ the Pagani factory in Harry M's Evo Diary? Still looks glorious, even after 6yrs

Metcalfe doesn't live in the real world, who else could show up at Zonda, wearing a dirty OAP fleece, be seen talking to his iPhone camera and then still be handed the keys to a one-off V12 carbon monster worth £1.6million.

My. Word. That. Car. Sounded. Vicious!

Do you really think they'd give him the key if it hadn't been run in? I'd say the motor has seen some load testing before it even gets dropped into a car.
The motor probably shows up directly from AMG in a velvet lined 16th century solid gold explorers chest, wrapped in Blue Whale blubber and then fully immersed in the embryonic fluid from a hundred pregnant Siberian tigers.
The engine blueprint is etched onto James Bond's penile gland, and then he is frozen into a carbide slab for transporting to the Zonda factory. The courier drivers are Boba Fett and Ethan Hunt, Rambo is observing the blueprint delivery operation from a gunship and Chuck Norris did all of the administration and paperwork.

True story.
No matter where you go, there you are.

If you ever see any of the Discovery Channel Mega Factories they seem to cane all the engines on the bench so I think running in is just letting everything settle down at least at this level of purchase.

Harry M mentioned a specific contract with AMG of 250 engines. I think for such a defined volume the engines would be well tested and run-in by the time they reach Pagani

No love for the Mugello Avant? Im falling in love with the B7 all over again, Mugello is very special.
