After having a small concealment built to house a space saver in the boot of the avant, stop it moving around etc.
Does anyone have any info on where i could purchase lookalike carpet to match the boot lining?

I came across similar carpet at some of the many VW/Audi shows I attend.

I did get some myself many moons ago for a VW Passat I had and was identical.

It does come up on EBay occasionally but you'd need to ask for a sample to ensure it would match.

If I come across it again will let you know.

Have you any pics on what youve done in the boot?

I'm afraid not, need the carpet to cover the work that's gonna take place. Basically, i'm going to purchase a space saver and leave it in the boot, lay it flat and have a small mdf cover over it, velcro'd so it does;t move around, once covered in the carpet it'll look like a small upstand / bulkhead to the floor. (pretty much like the speaker boxes / housing's that used to be made for large speakers when i was knee high to a....

Yep, pretty much that, although only going to make it cover the diameter of the space saver, descreet...i hope.

If you are going to level the boot then Audi sell a reversible boot liner that may solve your problem without the bother or re-trimming ?

sounds interesting, i'll enquire about this tomorrow along with the costs for a space saver wheel, well worth looking into, thanks for the up.

pretty much there, managed to get the carpet (albeit shade difference) off ebay, £15, need to further staple the covering, and now we've a cover for the space-saver on shorter UK journeys.
looks a little naff, but better then seeing the spacesaver and helps when loading other bits into the boot for the missus, no, thats not where i keep her !!
