After 4 weeks away in NZ where I got married I have picked up the RS from Phirmfx in Surrey where Chris has been working his magic. I had a very minor front wing dent due to some London DH and I thought I would get the roof box colour coded at the same time.

First of all I cannot rate highly enough the service I have had from that company, they were a pleasure to deal with which is so rare these days. Cheers Bam I owe you for that heads up, if we ever meet Ill buy you a beer (snap out of it, not all Kiwis are tight)

Two things, I needed a roof box that long, and yes it is as far back as it can go.

Being honest,i do really like it,yes it does stick a little bit to much over the front if being extra critical,but its
the size you needed so thats that.

Much nicer than just a plain box,maybe a few nicely chosen Stickers on the back end of it,although im sure others
will disagree with the Stickers lol

Thanks Jules, I know what you mean, I think Ill go with OEM+ first and trial a couple of discreet RS4 badges (I know you hate that idea!), if that looks naff Ill have a play around with a few Stickers and hopefully finish the look off just right.

Totally , it's each to their own with this sort of thing, for me it looks vast amounts better than the awful silvery grey it was.

The colour match is superb, if you saw the car in real it looks identical. Chris did a very professional job.

Quite, respect for getting the box profesionally painted rather than a couple of rattle cans in the garden, have you thought about an RS4 badge or Audi rings at the back ?

Yes he has maybe the rings might work in silver

I think the rings might be a bit much on the back, its quite a narrow box so I don't think they would look right. Ill do a trial run with the badges blu-tacked on and with any luck that will break up the block of colour just enough.

Bam, I have a dozen for you, in my garage....mind its in NZ but they are there whenever you want
