What fuel?

Since buying my RS4 it's only ever had V power however the local Shell garage has closed so the nearest is 7 miles away. On the way I pass BP, Murco, morrison's and Texaco. Are there any other fuels worth using?
I spent 2 days cleaning the carbon from my manifold about 6 months ago, I'd rather spend the extra and drive further if it's worth it and will prevent that coming back.
In my previous BMW M5 (v10) I noticed no difference between v power and shell regular fuel in terms of mpg or power, then again I didn't notice much difference between 400 and 507 sport either!!!

Slightly off topic, two Shell garages near me have closed too, are the revamping them or shutting them for good?

bet money they are rebuilding them.
Every shell garage near me within about 15 miles has been flattened to the ground and rebuilt from scratch.

It's because they are franchised, so can pretty much set whatever price they like. The cheapest garage near me is always shell ! (fortunately)

I use Tesco Momentum99. It's supposedly better than V Power, but I can't say I've noticed any major difference between the two. It is slightly cheaper than V Power too though - by me at least.

I wouldn't bother with Murco or Texaco personally, I'm not even sure they do a super option?
From your list I's say BP.
I use either Sainsburys Super or Tesco Momentum

Tesco Momentum has a high Ethanol content to boost RON rating but not necessarily bettwer than V-Power as it does not have the cleaning agents and the Tesco has a lower torque curve. I like to swap between to keep the best performance.

V Power every tank for me. I hate filling up early, but with no V Power in Bedford I tend to 'take stock' when passing through MK where its typically cheapest, regularly use the same station, A422 Newport Pagnell end of Milton Keynes, 14.2 miles home.

BP ultimate most times - the nearest stations to me and the only one on my commute is BP. It's a couple of miles out to a Shell, but I've not noticed anything extra with v-power.

Regardless of brand of fuel used I normally put Wynn's Formula Gold Petrol Treatment in every 3rd Tank as it's readily available at Halfords, and Wynn's make specific claims regarding Deposit build-up for the product in their Problem Solving Guide here:
