This deal is still running on ebay, a good bit cheaper than their own website.

Anyone tried them? I'll need something soon when the winters come off.

So what are Avons like as a tyre? Also you wouln't need valves as you would be supplying TPMS so should ask for a discount on that price. Decent price but not that much cheaper than tried and tested Secret Santa's.....

Cheapest Vreds I can see is at clickontyres.com, £703.15 delivered for 4.
My local tyre guy has just unexpectedly transformed into a Sainsbury's Local, so I need a tyre fitter. The mobile guy who fitted my winters charged £25 per corner, so the Vreds for me come in at £803.15.

Sure, the ZZ5's are getting good reviews.

This is interesting:

Only 5? Absolutely, I just mean it's interesting as a possible perspective on them all.
The SuperSports only have 11 reviews, the Conti 5's have 12.

Just FYI, the National Tyres deal on the Avons went up to £690 but has now come down slightly to £677.

In the end I went for the Vreds from clickontyres, good price and next day delivery to Glasgow. I found a fitter here called Powdertec at Kinning Park, £50 to fit so couldn't argue with that.

The Avons could be a good deal for someone looking for a budget tyre.
I really wanted the Goodyears but I'm having to economise just now.
Hey ho.
