Anyone know anything about this car? Might have a look at it this week. Being sold for £19995 2006 74k on clock. Daytona grey avant, black wheels, apart from that, looks standard. Being sold by Charlton Motors near Cheltenham.

Two things you can do to check the car a bit further.

1. check the MOTs online, you need the V5C document reference number or MOT cert number
2. call Audi, but you may need the original reg plate details

both should help verify mileage and some history etc

Cheers gents, popped up there and basically did a lot of sex wee everywhere. Resisting the impulse to buy buy buy, I had a quick look around, couple of points. Seat bolster well worn on drivers side (easy repair?) seamed to have full Audi service history. Lots of receipts for 2006-2008 but not a lot after, prolly due to change of owner. Toothed belt changed at 20k nothing since. No obvious signs or drc leakage, but then ya can't see much under there anyhow, brakes seemed ok minimal lip on the disc. Wheels are a bit tatty, wheel man will be fixing this week. Badly repaired stone chips on the bonnet some on the rear arch spats. Didn't drive it or check under the hood as someone else had put a £500 deposit on it :( plus I didn't want to embarrass myself further by dribbling all over it. Got a kenwood aftermarket head unit in there also. Seat bolsters work I was assured and unsure of the exhaust situation... It was too much to quickly... My brain turned to jam and legs went all weird. God these cars look good in the flesh!!!

That's very early.

Remember this engine has multiple duplex cam chains, so the toothed belt only drives ancillaries like the alternator. That doesn't stop Audi dealers sending out reminders that the "cam belt" needs changing though...

I looked at a b5 rs4 about 5 years ago and pretty positive that was the plate on it
