Fuel Costs (sorry in advance)

Yup, sorry for such a pathetic question but could someone give me an indication of the fuel cost?
I currently do 1k a month on country roads and some dual carriageway.
What likely is my fuel going to be for average driving?
So how many miles to a tank?
TIA
Gareth

Hi,
I get combined 22 MPG, that just driving with sensible hat on.
If it gets spirited then its more like 17 - 19 MPG.
All in all between fill ups about 270 - 330 miles to a tank.

How much to fill?
Currently run a Focus RS, so a 2.5 Turbo.
£75 to fill for 300 miles

So.... you're looking at roughly 80 quid to fill the RS4.... for similar miles (on a good day).

£85 for 160 miles, having fun though and no commuting.
Over 10000 miles I have averaged 15.6 mpg.

Just opened my fuel expense form, and I can tell you I've put £2046 in mine since April 6th.
Mileage is roughly 1k per month... (If I went out to the car, and got my diary out, I could tell you exactly!)

I did my regular 22mile commute the other day with cruise control set at 68mph when on the 19 mile motorway section and averaged 36 mpg.
Next task to see how low I can get the mpg on the same route.

My commute is 35 miles each way, combination of A and B class roads - if driving reasobale sedately I can easily achieve 25/26, if iM in a bit of ahurry (not driving like a lunatic) then its more like 22/23
I do about 500 miles a week and I'd normally use about £130'ish worth of fuel a week.... Sshhh though cos I dont like to remind myself about it!!

If the car is running low, say <20 miles on the range, then you're going to be putting around 62-63 litres in, times that by however much V Power is in your area and there you go.
See my other thread for improving MPG after having nitrogen in my tyres, I'm impressed, I got 300 miles off a tank on a motorway run to Birmingham and back.

I'd say you are looking at very similar fuel costs to the Focus RS... but you will look 10x cooler

I don't have nitrogen and easily get 350 on a run to manchester from oxford without the warning light showing.

I used to do somewhere between 1-1.5k miles per month in my RS combination of suburbs, thrash and commute and was filling at peak prices last year in the region of £100 per week so I would estimate for slightly more than the ST but not much more (£50-75)

An £80 fill up lasts me between 190-220 miles on average. Not seen above 260 from a full tank but then I've a lead foot.

Very similar figures for me on average, if I get 250 from a tank I'm happy! Never had anything like 350 though.
