black coloured wheels on the RS4

Post by psg001 » Sat Oct 22, 2011 7:32 pm

Has anyone painted / powder coated their original alloys on the RS4?? Wondering if I should do this, just to give it a slightly different look.

what are peoples opinions on black wheels on the RS4 (mine is red). definitely dont want it to look chavvy or spoil the look.

cheers

ive just had mine powdercoated but mines black on black. it will take the 'prestiege' ness of the car but will add a sportier meaner look to the car imo

they look titan but you get the feel

yeah, that was my worry.

I was in london and saw a few maserati granturismos with black wheels, looks really sporty. wanted to see what people thought on here.

might just stick spacers on...

Sorry but IMHO black wheels look like a "Max Power" mod.

OE Titan is IMHO a nicer option.

I agree with Dave i much prefer the titan on the alloys but i think it only works with certan colours looks like red gets away with it but would be nce on your black optics pack with the mirrors titan too

I a red one to, I think it would look good, however you couldnt just do the Wheels, you need to do most of the chrome bits to make it look good, Grill, Mirror etc..

Only problem with having black wheels is when the tyre rubber fades, it can make them look tired and worn.

Any more pics of your car Rick?
