JHM Lightweight flywheel.

I remember driving in an ACS E36 M3 CS with one of these, and what a racket it made. Had to pull off from 1200rpm. So im guessing lightweight flywheels may have changed somewhat over the years.

What do you guys think of this little number by JHM?

I seem to recall reading about this recently on the forum, anyone tried it from here, and do you think it is worth doing?

Lightweight pulleys would go well with the product.

What about upgrading the wings and bonnet to the RS4 ali ones? might be able to get some from a breaker, this will half the weight down of the original items. However you will compromise on safety.

im very tempted for the clutch and fly wheel combo but also the 380mm discs too, was talking to Doug about his set up by a local company to him but he didnt really rate them especially for track, like u say the drilled are more of a headache than anything else, cleaning the holes out, i would much rather have grooved discs and not so bothered about drilled on rear?

just a thought there but not sure how the 380mm discs would go with ur 18" track wheels Sonny, they look quite close with the 19" wheels on? will go nice with my 20" wheels though lol

I did look at that and I think they will be fine.

I looked at the Alcon and stoptech set up, but I think the OEM callipers are fantastic, just the discs that need improving.

If you guys are buying stuff from JHM we may be better doing it in one bulk order to save on shipping costs since Steve and I live fairly close to each other. Even sending the stuff on to you in the UK after arrival on these shores sonny would be cheaper than o/s shipping. I may go for front and rear discs. We may also be able to get a slight discount from JHM on a bulk order too; I've tried in the past for myself and they weren't keen hence why I have never gone for their stuff.
