470 HP/348 ft lbs (B7, RS4)
Dyno'd on 20" using new Carbon Fibre Ram Air kit and inlet manifold spacers, 30hp jump.
Kit includes Pure Carbon Fibre Ram Air Duct and Race spec Auxiliary radiator (direct replacement).
The great thing is that the fans only reach 60mph, so true ram air benefits aren't fully realised on the rolling road.
I can confirm the radiator maintains OE Oil temperatures on the track (Silverstone) and Maximum Oil temperature was 130 degrees, the same as having both OE auxiliary radiators. On the motorway the Oil temps averaged around 96 degrees, climbing to 102 degrees Oil temperatures when I pushed on

it was rolling roaded at corten miller,
thanks guys thought 380 was bad but you have made me alot happyier, the CAF seems to have made a difference in induction noise and the Exhaust seems marginally louder, it also doesnt seem as hesitant anymore but it all could be my imagination, i will have to get out and do some logs this week,
do you think i should do a carbon clean with those figures?

Welcome to RS246 RTS BRAT. some good figures there. What is the race spec aux rad, MRC was talking about putting in a smaller Aux rad as a replacement for the OEM one, have you done this?
What is the Carbon fibre ram air duct, is it like a GruppeM system, and is so how did you overcome the hot air issue?

The duct is similar in concept to the one shown in Rick's post, with no hot air induction issue. The radiator replaces the remaining auxiliary radiator in the other side of the car to ensure that Oil temperatures are controlled. It's an effective peace of kit that uses all the standard radiator mounts and is attached directly to the OE duct.

I kept the Vanes as removing them causes the sensors to error. They can't read the posistion of the vanes... I got mine polished and re-inserted instead.
Where did you get you upgraded radiator from?

its very rare for a standard car to get more than 390PS
370 - 390 is the norm for a healthy car

Work carried out prior to Inlet manifold spacers and Ram air duct (not Pipe), that completely replaces the Auxiliary radiator;
Milltek Resonated cat back, HKS 200 cell cats, Induction manifold port and polish (Kept variable veins), carbon clean, ECU remap, Gruppem induction kit.
All of these upgrades only yielded 445ps (=438.90 hp), MRC advised me that was all the expected from a car with Cats and variable veins. They also ensured that the auxiliary radiator was cooled prior to conducting the final runs, as the initial runs only yielded 405ps. So I know hot air was not a factor.
More importantly the upgraded radiator keeps the Oil temperatures at least 6 degrees cooler in traffic than the OE radiator could. On the track (using only OE radiators, and with the auxiliary radiator removed), the Oil temperatures quickly rose to 142 degrees after only three laps at Silverstone.

the gruppe m isnt fully enclosed so will suck in some hot air even if you have a CAF

Quick question, what was the advantage of keeping the variable vanes?
I am very interested in what you have done as basically I will have the identical setup to you.
