What does that mean? New car or new project on existing car?

Ha ha yeh! I was just laughing to myself about that comment ( early onset of retardation)
It's what my daughters friends say about my car when I pick her up sometimes, or maybe they are just talking about me. Ie sick in the head

Lol the first time I picked my son up from his new school he said a kid from 2 years above him came up to him the next day and said "your dad's car is sick". He was pleased with that.

+1 My boys love the RS4 and the 'noise'. They have boys twice their age come up to them and say 'your dad's car is the loudest in the school'! It's mental!

Headmaster doesn't quite share the same view, but hey, can't please them all...

thanks for the comments guys,

my latest mod is going to be interior.

ive decided to fit the dash from the RS4 cab as i prefer the look of it.

its not going to be a cheap swap as the passenger carbon is different at a cost of £190 and the centre cubby hole at £65, theres a few other parts that are different but im not changing those , like the clocks, im not a fan of the clock surround on the cab its too flat so im going to use mine but i will have to make some custom carbon trim.

I wondered what this interior mod was going to be! I'de have never of guessed it though. I looked at getting a spare dashboard to buther to fit all the speakers in but decided it wasn't worth the effort in the end. Have you got a guide on how to remove the dash? I seem to recall finding one when I was researching mine.
Do you need to modify the fan vents in any way or do the existing ones just mate up to the new ones?

Excellent...I always wondered whether the 'vert dash would fit in as well. Like you, I much prefer the look of it.

Good luck and I'll be reading with interest

there are 2 extra speakers in the top of this so i might add them to the system somehow, not sure how to yet or if i can,

i think and hope the vents just line up, on the under side the vents have a rectangular duct which looks like it could mate up, not sure until i remove the other one.

looking at the new dash there doesnt look like that many screws and bolts holding it down so hopefully will come out easily enough, i will have to splice int the loom for the extra vent

On the 'vert, tweeters are re-located into the dash rather than the tops of the door cards, I probably wouldn't bother messing around with that. How do the A pillar trims marry up?
