I know it's a personal taste thing, but having seen your black interior I'm SO glad that I spec'ed the light headlining and interior - the black makes the interior look so small and dark I would get claustrophobic in there.

But you prefer the black, and that's what matters.

+1. I have the light interior and silver dash inserts - the interior is really quite light - but equally mine is a silver car, so that kinda suits the overall look. I can see the dark interior complimenting the Phantom Black of that's your taste...

Nice work on the switchover - rather you than me!

Thanks. It's only a 2-3 hour job swapping them over. I'm not going to sell the cream as it doesn't sell on ebay so if I fancy a change I can swap back. I was surprised how dirty the cream was when it was out compared to being in the car.

ive done a few bits yesterday nothing very exciting but thought i would get it done,

saturday was so hot compared to today, such a shame

i decided to wrap the entire exhaust in titanium heat wrap, ive been reading up on this and it may only be minimal but any gain is a gain, hot gas flows quicker so i thought i wrap the entire exhaust downpipe back.

Image

and most boring ive changed the coolant resevoir

Image

ive done a bit more carbon but thats work in progress

Love the head liner update, nice and snug.

Please tell me you had access to a ramp for the exhaust wrap as that wouldn't have been fun doing it from axle stands.

thanks i prefer the interior, but craving more now, i really like the suede and stitched dashboard on the modified cars out there

i would never work under a car on axel stands, i used my local garages pit to do it as it takes ages to thread it over and over,

you can just see some ramps i made out of 10 x2 then the car cannot drop down as its already down, only use these to get the jack under and used last week when i changed the fuel filter.

i decided to add a touch more carbon to the rear of the car by wrapping the tail pipes, they have a space between and dont touch the tip directly andd have a space all the way round

Image

i also made a custom cai a while back after removing the aux rad and sai pump, its the largest feed possible,
i removed the old scoop for the aux rad and added a fiberglass scoop to it.

Image

i can get my whole arm in and up to the filter

Image

I also attended a rolling road day on saturday , heres a couple of rolling shots on the way

Image

Image

so after an early morning start and a drive out to the middle of nowhere i was strapped sown and ready to go

Image

heres the vid

http://vimeo.com/104852007

it made 415 ps and 311 lbs-ft

which im pretty happy with as its yet to have a remap, just still undecided yet

This is an awesome photo. I now see why you blacked out the headlight housing. Well done.

Mean Rick. Looks real mean. The rear shot on the rollers looks very stealth!

Thanks chaps. Really happy with it at the minute. Just thinking of the next project really.

Not that I'm a fast lane masher but when you want to go people do move out the way pretty sharpish, unlike our mini coupe.

I thought the matte black looked good on yours. Made the grille stand out
