thanks guys

yeah it was just a trial bit too much to change to get them to fit, i have seen some 380mm porsche 2 piece disks with no bells, but could get some made up so all i have to do is shim the caliper out
Are there any Porsche disks that will fit relatively easy? There are loads of relatively cheap Porsche carbon brakes on ebay and I've been wondering how much work it would be to adapt them. I know the pcd is slitghly different but I'm wondering if they'd fit the B7 bells.
A disk is a disk . The B7 bells are relatively flat so pretty easy to machine. And there's nothing fancy about them. Yeah Ives seen the carbon ones too the caliper would be man enough as theses no difference just if they make ceramic pads foe the 8 pot caliper

Re large disks. Why not machine the circumference down.
The disk isn't a floating disk as on the RS4 and may behave better?
